FAQ

Common questions

How does the device detection work?
When someone taps your link, we check their User-Agent header to determine if they're on iOS, Android, or desktop. iOS visitors go straight to the App Store, Android to Google Play, and desktop visitors see a landing page with both options and a QR code.
Can I change my slug after creating a link?
Yes. You can change your slug anytime from the dashboard. The old slug will stop working and the new one will be active immediately. On the Pro plan, you can also set up redirects from old slugs.
What analytics do I get?
The free plan shows total clicks and a basic iOS/Android split. Pro gives you time-series charts, country breakdown, referrer tracking, and UTM parameter support — everything you need to understand where your installs come from.
Is there a redirect delay?
No. The redirect happens server-side in under 50ms. Your visitors won't see a loading screen or intermediate page — they go straight to the store.
Can I use my own domain?
On the Pro plan, yes. You can set up a custom domain like go.yourapp.com and we'll handle the SSL and redirect logic. You just add a CNAME record and you're set.
